Gov Rick Perry Rumors

Rumors are circulating that the longest sitting Governor from Texas is mulling jumping into the Presidential race. Given the number who have opted not to run, and the weakness of several who have, an opportunity exists in the eyes of some

I suspect that a Southern Candidate will have certain troubles running against President Obama. A better option from the South would be Jeb Bush, if only he were the first Bush we had ever heard of.

Jeb is not as harsh talking as Perry, and would appear less strident to many. In general election, Florida would also be more in play than Texas (though I think FL is flipping back to Red in 2012)
